  Working under Maarten Marx and Jaap Kamps to introduce AI aspects into WooGLe
  Including an improved dense transformer-based retrieval system, and a retrieval augmented chatbot.

  During this time, I developed my teaching skills, including strategies for engaging students, tailoring lessons to many different subfields of Artificial Intelligence and fostering a healty classroom environment!
  The courses I had the privilege to teach included: Computersystems, Computational Logic, Language theory and Language Processing, Webtechnologies, and Introduction to Programming. Furthermore, I helped improve the Computersystems course by designing 3 different homework assignments.

  Thesis: 'Lost but not only in the Middle: Positional Bias in Retrieval Augmented Generation'
  Supervisors: David Rau and Jaap Kamps.
  Grade: 8.5
  We managed to turn this into a full paper and got accepted for ECIR 2025 in Lucca, Italy.
